The shelf is ordered by the idea, not by the repository.
Confirmed visitors may sit twenty minutes early. The order below is the order we teach. A Program Concept Session usually lives in the first four shelves. The Source Circle walks the whole run for one program.

Accounts and ownership
Public key, owner program, data length, lamports. The four-column sheet used on Wednesdays starts here. Nothing later on the shelf makes sense if the owner column is blank.

Instructions and signers
How an instruction indexes the transaction’s account list, which entries must sign, and which may be written. Discriminators for Anchor instructions live on this shelf as a thin folder, with a pointer down to shelf seven’s field layout.

Program-derived addresses
Seeds, the canonical bump, and the matching list used when the program authorises a debit. The brass-key habit of the room: derive and sign are the same seeds, or they are a bug.

Rent and account lifetime
Rent-exempt minimums, who funds a new account, and the destination named when an account is closed. Create and close are separate packets so they are not blurred into one handler.

Cross-program invocation
Which accounts are forwarded, which stay writable, and which program id is being asked. Used when an escrow must speak to the token program. We do not open this shelf until shelves one through three are filled for that instruction.

Compute budget and logs
What a unit budget is buying in a given handler, and how a log line maps back to a branch on the packet. This shelf is short on purpose. It is consulted when a test fails for cost, not when the account map is still wrong.

Tests as a second description
The last Thursday of a circle reads the tests as another way of listing the same accounts. A test that invents a new signer the map does not have is treated as a disagreement to settle, not as a spec to obey blindly.
Hours for a confirmed seat
Tuesday to Friday, 10:00–18:00, the room is open to people who already have a booking that day. Desk Hours are at 14:00 and 16:00. The open Program Concept Session is the first Wednesday, 13:00–16:00. During a Source Circle, Thursdays extend to 21:00.
The building entrance is on the street named in the footer. Come to the room number we send with your confirmation. Packets are not left at the door.
