About the room
A shelf, a table, and a business registered in Suwon.
The official registered business name is Focus Orbitway. The business was established in 2021. It has one room, and the work of that room is teaching smart contract concepts on Solana to people who sit down with the source.
How the room started
In the spring of 2021, two readers in Suwon began meeting after work to unpack Solana programs their studios assumed they already understood. The account list, not the syntax of Rust, was what kept stalling them. By autumn the group had a name, a borrowed table, and a habit of writing owners next to public keys.
Focus Orbitway took the present room near Paldal-ro in 2022 and has kept the same offer since: printed packets, small groups, and no session that begins without a program chosen in advance. The shelf grew with the sessions. It is ordered by concept — accounts, instructions, derived addresses, rent, cross-program calls, compute, tests — rather than by whichever repository is loud that month.
What the instructors are for
Minseo Park leads the open Wednesday sessions and has run the table since the business was established. The Thursday circle reader takes the six-evening pass and joins private bookings when the program is a long native-Rust file rather than an Anchor one. Both of them will stop an afternoon if the account map is wrong. Continuing past a bad map wastes the remaining hour.
At the table
Minseo Park
Minseo leads Program Concept Sessions and is in the room for the first and last evenings of each Source Circle. She came to the 2021 reading group from day-to-day program work in Gyeonggi, after a year of treating Solana’s account model as something a client library would hide. The packets still use the four-column sheet she drew that year.
Visitors meet the circle reader by name in the confirmation letter. The room is small enough that a second public portrait would mostly show the same shelves.
How a session is allowed to feel
Paper first. The local validator is a check, used only when the map is already filled. Questions are written on the packet, not collected in a chat that nobody rereads. English is the language of the table because the source comments visitors bring are usually in English. The address, the phone, and the invoices are Korean.
We keep the group small because an account map built by twelve people becomes a vote. Six is the Wednesday cap. Eight is the Thursday cap. A Desk Hour is one visitor on purpose.
Relation to the city
Most seats are taken by people who already work in studios around Suwon and the rest of Gyeonggi. A few travel from Seoul for a private Wednesday. A seat is a dated booking. The shelf opens for visitors who already have that booking; the packets on it belong to the groups who are mid-reading.
